SCADA Engineer - Long Term Contract

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems used in power transmission & distribution. This role requires a deep understanding of SCADA technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SCADA systems for power distribution networks.
• Implement and configure SCADA software and hardware.
• Monitor and maintain SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to integrate SCADA systems with other technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• High level of experience for the design and operation of Remote SCADA systems, across the full application lifecycle – with exposure to Transmission and Distribution applications and integrated Asset Data models (e.g., SAP Asset Management, Schneider CitectSCADA HMI and RTU, Microsol RTU, Cooper Gateways, GPS Clocks).
• Proven experience in SCADA system design and implementation.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
