We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (electrical) to be part of a core project team working for a significant mining client. This role offers an amazing opportunity to expand your career and work across major IT/OT projects committed to continuous improvement and technological advancement.
You will be the conduit between engineering specialists and the project team, challenging and driving project value, safety, governance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project user requirements, engineering management strategies, and scopes of work.
  • Provide project management through all project phases, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Act as a risk champion to identify and effectively manage safety, commercial, schedule, and technical risks throughout project phases.
  • Develop and manage project and stakeholder requirements, plans, and schedules within time, cost, and resource constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering consultants, IT, and operations teams.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

About You:

  • Proven experience in project and engineering management.
  • Project development experience for large multidisciplinary projects, ideally within mining.
  • Tertiary engineering qualification - control systems/electrical.
  • Combination of skills across network engineering, infrastructure, control systems, and electrical.
  • Experience working with and managing engineering consultants and engineering design deliverables.
  • Divergent and convergent thinking skills, with a strong understanding of business value.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to effectively manage and communicate change.
  • Must hold working rights and live in, or be willing to relocate to, Adelaide.
