The Site Manager is responsible for the management & coordination of all activities to ensure the project is delivered to the highest quality standard
You will be responsible for managing project outcomes by supervising and coordinating the onsite activities and the quality thereof to ensure the required resources, manpower and materials are available so maximum productivity is achieved at any given point throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and management
- Develop overall site program in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Monitor, co-ordinate and manage the construction and resources schedule
- Review overall programmes relating to site
- Be involved in the construction report and the PCG
- Ensure the timeline and preparation of off-site activity schedules are correct
- Review scopes of works to ensure they are as per contract and drawings and any PPR schedules
- Manage all subcontractor ITP process and audits
- Investigate and recommend better efficiencies in the construction processes
- Manage prelims labour onsite
- Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance
- Provide regular, accurate and reliable reporting of the financial and non-financial matters to give visibility of progress against targets and goals.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong relationship building and clear communication skills.
- Experience of providing support and encouragement to team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- A keen focus on health and safety.
- Minimum Cert IV in Building & Construction.
- Knowledge of legislation, rules, regulations, and standards relating to the construction industry.
