We are seeking EOI's for experienced Control Systems Engineers to respond to an emerging need for technical capability in the Mining sector. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of challenging large scale automation projects across our clients’ Mining operation.

As Control Systems Engineer you will provide specialist advice and execute tasks ensuring robust change control of Control Systems platforms to deliver availability, reliability, and production improvements.

We need Control Systems professionals who are committed to technical excellence, operational support and sustainable improvement.

These are long-term contracting opportunities that will offer both FIFO and city based positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing control systems design (including PLC/SCADA coding and graphics) and commissioning for plant modifications and new equipment installations.
  • Provide control systems support and technical assistance for breakdowns and production critical issues.
  • Development of design documentation
  • Provide control system engineering technical expertise to assist with Site/Asset and Functional managed projects that are associated Control Systems.
  • Analysis and auditing of existing control system implementations.

Technical Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree – Electrical / Control Systems / Instrumentation
  • Relevant heavy industry experience with a demonstrated practical and hands on approach in a mining environment
  • Experience with configuration and programming with various PLC platforms
  • Experience with configuration and programming of applications/platforms including CitectSCADA
