Contracts Manager – iCirt Gold Star D&C

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for all the commercial and financial aspects of medium-high density projects.

As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and management in the following areas –

• Assist in developing commercial management processes and control measures designed to minimise risk and maximise operational performance of contracts.
• In conjunction with external lawyers (when necessary) be the lead in the resolution of any SOP claims or legal disputes with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in developing commercial strategies and lead on contractual negotiations. Review all project contracts at the tender phase and propose any amendments to mitigate risk and to ensure they are commercial sound.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Contract Administrators whilst ensuring alignment to the Company objectives. Ensure that procurement at a project level is being carried out on a timely manner and in line with budgets and Delegated Authority Matrix.
• Ensure all project costs are accurately captured, allocated, forecasted and reported. Thorough monthly review of all Project Cost Reports along with reports outlining any issues.
• Ensure contractual commitments are met by their due dates and ongoing compliance with the contract generally.
• Extensive understanding of business growth models and ability to foresee commercial opportunities.
• Prepare and present training material to project teams as required.
• In conjunction with the Financial Controller, ensure processes and procedures relating to Cheops are up to date and identify any gaps in these processes that require amendments to mitigate risk.
• Comply with all legal requirements related to the safe and efficient running of the business.
• Deliver efficient, effective and robust systems, processes and management reporting information
