We are seeking an Electrical Engineer experienced in the design and commissioning of electrical power generation plants, preparation of protection and fault level studies, and in the coordination of grid connection requirements.
This role also involves designing ancillary equipment such as switchgear, control panels, and distribution boards.
There will be some interstate travel.
About the Role
- Design and maintain renewable energy power projects.
- Modify electrical drawings and conduct protection studies.
- Compile design documentation and perform relay coordination studies.
- Prepare Scopes of Work, equipment specifications, and design primary and secondary electrical systems.
- Provide operational support and conduct risk management.
- Test and commission on-site, manage project schedules, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Supervise contractors and conduct research to improve processes.
- Ensure WHS compliance and support other engineers.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competent in fault analysis, LV circuit design, and project planning.
- Knowledge of HV circuits, AutoCAD, and relevant Australian Standards.
