Seeking an experienced Change Manager to drive and implement health, safety, and environmental improvements for a large-scale public-sector business.
You will lead change initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition to improved HSE practices, cultures, and compliance in line with industry standards and regulations.
This position is a DARWIN based contract role, required for a period of 12 months, with an asap start.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support HSE Program/ Project initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management, operational teams, and stakeholders to embed a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Conduct impact assessments to understand how changes affect employees, processes, and business operations.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to drive awareness, buy-in, and adoption of new HSE policies, systems, and procedures.
- Design and implement communication plans, training programs, and workshops to support change initiatives.
- Support the integration of ISO4001 standards into business processes.
- Develop performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track the effectiveness of HSE change initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate resistance to change, ensuring a seamless transition to improved safety and environmental practices.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, embedding best practices in HSE management.
Essential Things About You
- Demonstrated capability as a Change Manager with over 10+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change management frameworks, strategies, and plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Experience leading culture change and behaviour-based safety initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive engagement and training programs.
- Proficiency in change management methodologies (e.g. PROSCI)
A Bit More About You
- Experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management within a utilities, energy, construction, or engineering environment.
- Experience in government/ government-owned organisations.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 (Quality Management) or ISO14001 (Environmental Management).
- Previous experience delivering change management initiatives related to health and safety.
- Knowledge of lean methodologies or continuous improvement (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen)
