As a Controls & Electrical Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and optimising control system. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems & cabinet layouts for turntables and associated machinery.
  • Perform in-depth engineering for electrical and control systems, including software development, component specification & selection, system testing, diagnostics, calibration, and performance verification.
  • Manage controls scope of projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with mechanical design engineers, operational teams, clients and contractors.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards, best practices, and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as required.
  • Develop data capture systems for performance analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and technology advancements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs and SCADA systems, ensuring effective automation and system integration.
  • A critical thinker & problem solver with strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and provide technical support.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Controls & Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field.
