Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for various design, procurement, scheduling and cost management, co-ordination and “hands-on” doing for work packages.
Key to this role will be the active communication with other team members and an ability to manage detail across broad project aspects and a variety of engineering disciplines.
You will possess
- Experience of overseeing the design process including
- developing and maintaining a design management plan, design reviews. verification, authorisation, and validation
- ensuring appropriate technical and end-user involvement in the design process within the assigned work package
- Project Control and Procurement/Contract experience
- Co-ordination of technical specifications, tendering, procurement, contracting and contract administration processes
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and resolution of any issues that may arise
- Oversight of the construction and commissioning process
- Ensure that relevant design information is provided to the construction team
- Ensures that commissioning activities within the assigned work packages are planned and resourced
