As Project Administrator you will provide high quality administration and support in the delivery of project activities supporting the Business Readiness & Transition Team. This will include diary management, project status reporting, workshops, stakeholder management, tracking of milestones, issues and risk management.

Contract role to end December 2025.

Location of work

You will be required to perform the services in Darwin. It is a requirement therefore that you will be Darwin based for the duration of this engagement.

About the Role

  • Support deliverables, tasks and activities, including supporting the training, change management, communications and transition teams.
  • Meeting minutes and coordinating workshops and meetings and collating meeting packs.
  • Extracting reports from JIRA and following up with project team members on the status of activities.
  • Assist with task allocation and oversight of entry level administrative staff within the program, providing mentoring when required.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of the project to ensure the program and project teams are supported.
  • Assist project leads in the planning and coordination of project related activities s.a. requirements and design workshops including preparing documentation, organising facilities, resources and stakeholders and assisting with execution.
  • Performing the secretariat role for workshops, meetings and committees.

About You

  • Demonstrated project/program experience in an administrative project coordination role or similar including experience in developing and maintaining process documentation and reporting on project statuses and activity.
  • Proven high level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with team members and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team orientated environment with high priority deliverables.
  • Solid experience in using software packages including MS Office Suite, with ability to quickly acquire skills in JIRA and SharePoint and other software systems.
  • Formal Qualification in (or working towards) Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent experience advantageous.
  • Experience in the Health or Information Technology industries advantageous.
