Reporting to the Program Manager, the Lead ITS Engineers will have proven design and delivery expertise in electrical engineering and/or control systems engineering. They are accountable for successfully and competently delivering complex engineering solutions for tunnel projects within requirements, schedule and budget in their area(s) of expertise. They provide mentoring and leadership and have the ability to lead a technical team. This includes taking accountability for the team’s performance in achieving schedule, quality and budget targets.
Key Result Areas:
- Design and deliver technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the tunnel project.
- Identify and mitigate technical risk, escalating high risk items to management.
- Manage and promptly resolve project issues.
- Manage changes to the technical outcomes of the tunnel project.
- Manage and track tasks to complete projects within budget and time constraints.
- Plan and manage the quality of technical deliverables.
- Adhere to our internal processes and project methodology.
- When assigned as a project Technical Lead, they are accountable for these KRAs for the entire project including the coordination of other technical team members.
Essential Requirements:
- You will have an appropriate Electrical Engineering qualification combined with proven tunnel experience.
- You will have extensive knowledge of Siemens PLC software and the use of Siemens TIA Portal.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage and lead a technical team.
