Automation Engineer w/ Citect. Project until 2032!

You will work with the lead automation engineer and project engineers to help deliver assigned
automation and electrical projects on time, budget and scope, and deliver technical solutions through preparation and oversight of detailed design, FAT and commissioning across a range of packages covering both control system electrical hardware and PLC/SCADA software.

Duties:

• Designing and delivering technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project.
• Identifying and mitigating technical risk, escalating high risk items to management.
• Managing and promptly resolving project issues and changes.
• Managing and tracking tasks to complete projects within budget and time constraints.

You will possess:

• PLC programming, commissioning and fault finding on a range of PLCS
• Citect SCADA programming
• High level personal computer skills and technical ability
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A commitment to working safely
• Time management skills – the ability to manage and prioritise day to day workload whilst at the same time meeting both internal and client deadlines
• Professional and confidential approach with a positive attitude
• Strong problem solving skills, thinking logically and curiosity to do things better
• Demonstrated experience to deal effectively with people at all levels in a manner that represents excellent customer service
