Full Stack Developer

Seeking an experienced Full Stack developer to support the delivery of a major technology program on behalf of Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services.

You will undertake technical design and development of business systems using application development standards such as.NET and SQL.

• Location of work Darwin

Essential Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science or software engineering.
• Skill in writing multi-layered applications with C# .Net / Web Applications / SQL Server.
• Experience with .net code stack such as Bamboo, JIRA, confluence.
• Skills with Web Services, Mainframe integration or Message Queues such as IBM MQ.
• Skill with .Net MVC or WebAPI or ServiceStack framework.
• Skill with modern version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion.
• Demonstrated skill in writing unit tests.
• Experience creating web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with a client-side Javascript library such as Knockout or Angular.
• Experience in technical architecture design, application development and programming to develop well designed solutions.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in designing and developing solutions for NTG business systems
• PowerBuilder
• Desktop UI development, preferably WPF.
• Web development (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
• Object Relational Mapping framework such as NHibernate, LLBLGen or Entity Framework.
• Designing relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Unit Testing such as NUnit.
