Project Manager (12-Month Contract)
Location: Darwin, NT
Closing Date: COB 5 June 2025
Daily Rate: Based on 8-hour day
Clearances Required: National Police Clearance & Working with Children (OCHRE)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact digital health projects for NT Health. This 12-month contract role will support a transformative initiative to implement a Territory-wide, integrated electronic health record system.
Reporting to the Program Management Lead, the Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring project success through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery of high-quality documentation and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to ensure initiatives are strategically aligned and functionally sound.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
- Manage project risks, issues, and change processes.
- Deliver accurate and high-quality project reports and artefacts.
- Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality parameters.
- Support team members in achieving milestones and deliverables.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing substantial projects in the health sector.
- Strong qualifications in project management.
- Familiarity with PRINCE2, PMP, and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, planning, and change management capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative team environment.
