HS&E Supervisor – multi-year contract

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for identifying issues to the Construction Team and actively supporting construction risk management and engineering construction reviews.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Team in the day-to-day Health Safety and Environmental monitoring of construction activities through site presence and audits.
• Run weekly site inductions for contractors and manage the comply flow induction process.
• Identify issues to the Construction Team to ensure Safe Systems of Work are undertaken in a proactive way.
• Actively participate in construction risk management and engineering construction reviews for project engineering which requires these processes.
• Review and participate contractor governance, including monthly reports and weekly meetings.

Required

• At least 5 years professional experience within the construction industry
• 2+ years demonstrable success in an HS&E role
• Experience with civil construction projects
• The ability to work effectively in cross-functional groups and to thrive in a team environment, with strong communication skills
