What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the design and development of control systems using ROCKWELL Automation, Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and Citect SCADA.
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems across platforms like Siemens S7.
  • Work with advanced SCADA systems, including Ignition, GeoSCADA, and Honeywell Experion.
  • Develop communication systems using Modbus, HART, and CANbus.
  • Apply your electrical engineering knowledge to power distribution, protection systems, and VFD configuration.
  • Provide technical support to operations, including after-hours troubleshooting when on-call.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring their growth and contribution to project success.
  • Manage contractors during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Drive project delivery through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and cost control.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in Rockwell Automation RSLogix 5000/500 and Citect SCADA.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel (intrastate, interstate, and occasionally overseas).
