We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager / Lead to oversee the delivery of a high-value, complex digital transformation initiative in the education sector. This role will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage the full lifecycle of enterprise business solution projects, from requirements gathering through to implementation and transition to support.

Location: Darwin-based role; remote work is not available
Closing Date: 17 September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time Contract, 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-performing project teams.
  • Deliver complex ICT solutions aligned with strategic business outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders across business units, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Oversee project planning, governance, risk and issue management.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeframes.
  • Drive change management and organisational transformation.
  • Apply human-centred design principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in project management, specifically in enterprise solution delivery.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Expertise in project governance, planning, and risk management.
  • Strong background in change management and ICT integration.
  • Experience with system analysis, design, and integration.
  • High-level communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (including SharePoint) and JIRA.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management frameworks.
  • Experience working in government sectors such as Education or Police.

  • Working with Children (OCHRE) Card
  • Eligibility: Must have lived in Australia for the past 5 consecutive years.
