Change & Training Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Change & Training Manager to support the Northern Territory Government’s Clinical Systems Renewal Program - located in DARWIN. This is a pivotal role within a major digital transformation initiative aimed at delivering a Territory-wide integrated electronic health record system.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of organisational change and training strategies to support the implementation of the new clinical system, Acacia. This role requires a strategic thinker with demonstrated expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery across complex ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on change management, engagement, communications, and training to senior stakeholders.
• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of change and training frameworks aligned with program objectives.
• Manage and mentor change and training support personnel.
• Deliver high-quality training programs tailored to diverse stakeholder groups including end users, managers, and support teams.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change and training initiatives, adjusting strategies as required.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in training methodologies and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum five years’ experience in organisational change management and training delivery within large-scale ICT programs.
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into operational outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and fostering collaboration.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in healthcare or ICT transformation programs.
• Tertiary qualifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Training, Healthcare, or related disciplines.

Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Location: Darwin, NT
• Clearances Required: National Police Clearance and Working with Children (Ochre Card)
• Remuneration: Daily rate, based on an 8-hour working day
