Project Engineer w/ HV Transmission Substation exp

Working on a landmark renewables project, you will oversee and coordinate the manufacture and supply of HV transmission substation equipment.

This massive transmission infrastructure project will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW.

Reporting to a Project Manager you will oversee and coordinate a massive procurement effort utilising your knowledge of substation design to understand and to advise on the criticality of the manufacture and supply of substation infrastructure.

You will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Significant experience in HV equipment/substations (utility/EPC/OEM)
• Strong knowledge of IEC/AS standards and utility specifications.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex technical scopes independently
