HSE Supervisor/Lead

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Supervisor to support our team across a range of electrical and industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong health, safety, and environmental expertise.

You will play a key role in ensuring safe work practices, driving compliance, and supporting a strong safety culture across site activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HSE compliance across project sites, particularly electrical installations and maintenance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, SWMS/JSA reviews, site safety inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and client HSE standards.
• Lead incident investigations and facilitate corrective actions.
• Support and coach teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and HSE records.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe execution of electrical works.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor, Safety Advisor, or similar role.
• Understanding of electrical safety, HV/LV works, switchboard installations, or similar environments (preferred).
• Relevant safety qualifications (e.g., Cert IV WHS, Diploma WHS, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, standards, and construction/industrial safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence and promote safe behaviours across teams.
