Are you an experienced contract management professional with a strong background in facilities, maintenance services, or supplier governance?
Our client is seeking a Facilities Contract Specialist to join their team on a fixed term contractor engagement, supporting a large, complex facilities portfolio and ensuring seamless operational continuity across essential services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail driven commercial professional who thrives in a structured environment and excels at developing robust Scopes of Work, strengthening supplier performance, and driving proactive contract lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Development & Renewal

  • Develop clear, accurate and fit for purpose Scopes of Work for facilities, maintenance, and project services.
  • Lead contract reviews, renewals, negotiations, and documentation updates.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of service levels, warranties, commercial terms, and compliance obligations.

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Maintain a forward looking renewal schedule to avoid contract lapses or service interruptions.
  • Implement proactive lifecycle processes and governance controls.
  • Work with stakeholders to clarify scope, needs, and contract performance expectations.

Supplier Governance

  • Partner with the Facilities team to assess supplier performance and identify improvements.
  • Ensure SOWs and contract documents support measurable KPIs and strong accountability.
  • Support supplier sourcing and onboarding as required.

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Facilities, Fleet, Procurement and Finance teams.
  • Provide advice on contract terms, risks, performance measures and commercial considerations.
  • Assist with procurement documentation, business cases, and risk assessments.

Compliance & Record Management

  • Ensure all contracts meet organisational, legislative and WHS requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, renewal dates, variations, approvals and supporting documents.
  • Support continuous improvement of templates, processes and contract management frameworks.

About You – Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Background in contract management, facilities management, procurement, or similar.
  • Proven ability to develop detailed, high quality Scopes of Work.
  • Experience managing contract lifecycles and supporting supplier governance.
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Facilities Management, Business, Procurement or Contract Management.
  • Experience with procurement or contract management systems.
