Embedded Expertise (EE) is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Special Inspection (SI) professionals interested in supporting Defence-aligned infrastructure projects in the Northern Territory.

This EOI is to support potential future SI requirements on complex, highly governed Defence works, including projects delivered under U.S. Department of Defense / NAVFAC-aligned specifications.

Indicative Special Inspection Disciplines
We are interested in hearing from professionals with experience across:

• Structural / Concrete / Steel Special Inspection
• Civil, Earthworks & Geotechnical Inspection
• Mechanical Special Inspection
• Electrical, Fire, ICT & Controls Inspection
• Architectural / Building Envelope Inspection
• Environmental or Cultural Monitoring
• Other Defence or NAVFAC-aligned inspection specialisations

Typical Background & Experience
Depending on discipline, suitable candidates may bring:

• Trade, diploma or engineering qualifications relevant to their inspection field
• Experience on Defence, Defence-industry, or similarly regulated infrastructure projects
• Exposure to Special Inspection frameworks, quality assurance, ITPs, and compliance reporting
• Familiarity with U.S. standards, NAVFAC, USACE, or DoD project environments (highly regarded but not essential)
• Demonstrated ability to secure all necessary Northern Territory authorisations, site access approvals and Defence clearances.
• Holds Australian citizenship and is fully eligible for Defence security clearance uptake.
