Embedded Expertise is seeking an experienced Facilities Contract Specialist to support high quality facilities operations with a strong focus on contract development, lifecycle management and supplier governance. This is a contract role and will suit a detail driven professional with strong commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder skills.

About the Role
You will play a key role in strengthening the facilities contract portfolio, ensuring operational continuity, and supporting commercial oversight across a range of service agreements. The position requires strong capability in developing Scopes of Work (SOWs), managing contract lifecycles and partnering closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Development and Renewal
- Develop clear and detailed SOWs for facilities services, maintenance programs and project works
- Lead contract reviews, renewals and negotiations
- Maintain a strong understanding of service levels, warranties and compliance requirements
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Manage and maintain a forward looking contract renewal schedule
- Implement proactive lifecycle management to avoid service disruptions
- Work with stakeholders to align contract requirements with operational needs
Supplier Governance and Performance
- Monitor supplier performance with the Facilities team
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives
- Support supplier sourcing and onboarding in line with procurement processes
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with Facilities, Fleet, Procurement and Finance teams
- Provide guidance on commercial terms, service levels and risk
- Prepare documentation for procurement approvals and business cases
Compliance and Record Management
- Ensure contracts meet legislative, WHS and organisational compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations and renewal dates
- Support improvement of contract management frameworks and templates
About You
Essential
- Extensive experience in contract management, facilities management or procurement
- Strong capability in developing detailed SOWs
- Good understanding of commercial terms, service levels, warranties and compliance
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Experience using contract or procurement management systems
Desirable
- Qualifications in Facilities Management, Business, Procurement or Contract Management

- End date: 24 July 2026 (potential extension of 6-12 months)
