Risk Manager | Major Infrastructure Program

Perth, WA | Immediate Start | Contract to Feb 2027

Embedded Expertise is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support a major, state-significant infrastructure program.

This is a key role within a Program Controls team, suited to someone who can step in quickly and provide confident leadership across risk, issues, and opportunities management in a complex program environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Controls, you will lead the coordination and uplift of risk practices across multiple projects, ensuring risks with potential program-wide impact are clearly identified, managed, and communicated.

You will work closely with both project teams and the Executive to support decision-making through structured risk insights and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead risk, issues, and opportunities management across the program
• Facilitate risk workshops and support teams in identifying and managing key risks
• Ensure visibility and management of material program-level risks
• Engage with Executive stakeholders to review risk categories and provide insights
• Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting for governance and Steering Committee review
• Maintain and improve risk frameworks, tools, and processes
• Promote consistent risk practices across a multi-disciplinary environment

About You

• Strong experience in risk management within major infrastructure programs/projects
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholder groups
• Proven ability to engage with senior and executive audiences
• Experience producing clear, meaningful risk insights and governance reporting
• Familiarity with risk systems such as Quickbase (or similar platforms, with Clew advantageous)

• Experience applying structured risk frameworks (ISO-aligned)
• Confidence leading risk workshops and governance processes
