Working closely with the Engineering Management team, you will use your configuration, risk and safety management expertise to coordinate, develop, and support engineering activities on a massive digital network integration project.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate integration project activities
- Manage Engineering and Configuration Control Boards, Risk and Issues workshops and Systems Safety Working Groups and documentation
- Manage Configuration Items and Engineering Changes
- Advise on system safety aspects at mandated system reviews and trials
- Support the management of system safety related technical issues that cannot be resolved within the framework of the engineering processes, methodologies and procedures
- Manage and track all systems safety related technical requirements of LNIC projects, including systems engineering activities
- Work closely with systems engineers to track, catalogue and manage the lifecycle status of risks, hazards, causes and their mitigations
- Work collaboratively to support the Technical Authority Delegations of personnel engaged in technical roles
You will possess
- Current ITIL Qualifications covering Foundations; Release, Control and Validation; and Release Management
- Extensive experience in Change Management and Risk management (ISO 31000), preferably in the Defence Sector or Defence Industry.
- Experience with design, build and test functions of secure C4I Systems, Networks and associated Software.
- Experience in maintaining and operating engineering design and systems competence and operations.
- Knowledge of National WHS legislative requirements and Military Safety policies & standards including their applicability to Safety, Risk and Hazard management.
