Contracts Specialist

Leederville, WA | Contract to May 2027 | Immediate Start

Embedded Expertise is partnering with a leading utilities organisation to engage an experienced Contracts Specialist to support a major ERP Integrated Program. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering exposure to both major and minor capital works and enterprise procurement activities.

What you’ll be doing

You will play a key role across the end-to-end contract establishment process, supporting project and operational stakeholders across construction works, equipment, and services procurement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the full contract lifecycle across works and equipment packages
• Preparing evaluation plans, tender documentation, and bid materials
• Coordinating tender processes including briefings, clarifications, and submissions
• Facilitating evaluation processes, including compliance and commercial assessments
• Supporting contract negotiations across commercial, legal, and technical areas
• Drafting contracts and managing award processes
• Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, including local buying and Aboriginal participation requirements

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in project-based works contracts (construction and/or infrastructure)
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capability
• High attention to detail across contract documentation and procurement processes
• Degree qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering or similar
• Sound understanding of commercial and contract law principles
• Exposure to WA Public Sector procurement (highly regarded)
