An opportunity is available for a HR Support Officer to join a People & Safety team in Darwin. This contract role will support a broad range of HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, reporting, and general HR administration.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth delivery of recruitment, onboarding, and workforce reporting processes. This position suits someone organised, detail-oriented, and confident working across multiple HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment processes and provide support to hiring managers
- Support onboarding, inductions, and probation processes
- Maintain employee records and HR systems
- Prepare regular HR reports (fortnightly, monthly, quarterly)
- Manage exit interview processes and reporting insights
- Assist with performance review documentation and tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
About You
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative capability
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of HR systems and reporting tools
Desirable
- Qualification in HR, Business or related discipline
- Previous experience in HR or operational recruitment environments
