Project Manager (Engineering)

Mining & Energy Sector | 12-Month Contract | Perth, WA

We’re currently partnering with a leading engineering and automation delivery provider to secure an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month contract based in Perth.

This role will see you leading the delivery of complex projects across the mining and energy sectors, working within a fast-paced, client-facing environment and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through to commissioning and close-out
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful outcomes
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical, control systems, and integration scopes
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong engagement and delivery confidence
• Drive project governance, reporting, and commercial performance
• Support procurement, subcontractor management, and site execution where required

About You

• 8+ years’ experience in Project Management within engineering environments
• Proven delivery experience across mining, energy, or heavy industrial sectors
• Background in engineering (electrical, control systems, or automation preferred)
• Experience working within a consultancy, EPCM, or systems integration environment is highly regarded
• Strong ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects in dynamic delivery settings
• Commercially astute with well-developed risk and stakeholder management capability
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

• Experience delivering automation, control systems, or OT/industrial digital projects
• Familiarity with WA mining operations and project environments
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)
