ITS Project Engineer - Multi-year Contract

Join a leading Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project delivering critical road and transport infrastructure upgrades.

We are seeking an experienced ITS Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex ITS works across a major transport infrastructure project. Working closely with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in coordinating engineering activities, managing project documentation, and supporting successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of ITS project works from design through to commissioning.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and engineering deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, and cost control activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering ITS, traffic, communications, or transport infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and engineering processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Desirable

• Experience with ITS technologies, traffic signals, CCTV, VMS, fibre networks, or SCATS.
• Exposure to road, rail, tunnel, or smart infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of testing and commissioning processes.
