Core Network integration Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity contribute to the development of next-generation communications infrastructure that will support future automated train control systems. You’ll work as part of a highly collaborative engineering team, solving complex technical challenges and developing innovative solutions at pace. The role requires a combination of strong technical capability, systems thinking and excellent stakeholder engagement to successfully integrate complex telecommunications, mission-critical and operational systems.

You will possess:

• Experience in 5G/Telco core network technologies, integration and mission-critical communications environments.
• The ability to translate technical requirements into practical designs, integration solutions and test strategies.
• Strong understanding of IP networking principles and technologies.
• Experience with SIP, VoIP and related Unified Communications (UC) technologies.
• Experience working with virtualisation and containerised environments.
