Contract Opportunity | Osborne Park, WA | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Planner to support the planning and coordination of maintenance activities across critical infrastructure assets.

Working closely with operations teams, schedulers, technical specialists and asset planners, you will play a key role in ensuring maintenance work is planned safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop work packs for new maintenance activities
  • Convert annual maintenance programs into structured work packages
  • Coordinate labour, materials, services, tooling and equipment requirements
  • Identify and manage maintenance and operational constraints
  • Collaborate with schedulers to optimise maintenance activities and resource utilisation
  • Conduct site inspections to validate scope and planning requirements
  • Provide maintenance planning support and technical advice to operational teams
  • Monitor maintenance backlogs and overdue preventative maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate maintenance data within CMMS systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational performance outcomes

About You

You will have either a relevant trade or tertiary qualification, or significant experience within maintenance planning and asset operations environments.

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrated maintenance planning and scheduling experience
  • Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance work management processes
  • Experience within infrastructure, utilities, industrial, manufacturing, resources or similar environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in water, wastewater, mining, energy or heavy industrial environments
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring and maintenance analysis methodologies
  • Experience supporting maintenance execution and continuous improvement programs
  • Experience with SAP, Maximo, MS Access or similar systems
  • Familiarity with contemporary maintenance planning tools and CMMS platforms
