Intelligent Transport - Test & Commissioning

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a major infrastructure project, working with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) equipment and electrical systems that support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of tunnel infrastructure.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for undertaking field testing, verification and commissioning activities, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning teams to ensure systems are installed, tested and operating in accordance with project requirements, technical specifications and relevant standards.

About You
You are a practical, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer who enjoys working in the field and solving technical challenges. You can work collaboratively with multiple project stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.

You will have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical testing, field verification or commissioning activities.
• Experience with Intelligent Transport Systems, tunnel systems, road infrastructure or other major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
• An understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• The ability to follow test procedures, interpret results, investigate faults and document findings accurately.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality assurance and compliance with site procedures.
• The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment and meet commissioning milestones.

Experience with tunnel electrical systems, control and monitoring interfaces, communications equipment or systems integration will be advantageous.
