EV Grid Connection Manager

You will be required to manage and lead the power requirements through the feasibility and delivery phase for each site and provide the following:

• Rigorously manage DSNP (Distribution Network Service Providers) application process for new connections and upgrades to align with the client’s expectations
• Familiarization with DNSP standards and processes to inform the project in determining project phase delivery.
• Build effective relationships with DNSP’s, consultants and contractors
• Commercial knowledge of DNSP offers and technical solutions in determining best connection strategy and cost effective solutions.
• Knowledge of power distribution networks
• Cross functional communication and stakeholder management
• Lead front end engineering evaluations for projects
• Provide technical/engineering assurance and support to the project team

About You

• Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in a similar role and/or related electrical/power distribution environment (Engineering Design, Consulting, Project & Construction Management)
• Proven experience within Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSP) is required.
• String understanding of Connection Application process,
• Ability to work with multiple DNSP’s across ANZ simultaneously
• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good understanding in project feasibility stage
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Status as a Permanent Australian Resident or Citizen of Australia or New Zealand
