Due to steady growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team in Adelaide on a permanent full time basis.

As an Electronics Technician, you will be based onsite performing preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance across a broad range of electronic control assets for our clients to enhance efficiency and improve the value and productivity of their business. The role will encompass aspects of project and contract management, along with assisting in the construction of electrical automation panels.

Furthermore, the role will involve working with both internal and external customers, so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, have strong attention to detail, as well as proven problem solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduled servicing and functional testing for mining blast controllers with a Bluechip Customer
  • Firmware Upgrades
  • Creation of testing units and knowledge base articles
  • Manufacture/tracking of OEM equipment to support customers’ requirements
  • Printed circuit board fault diagnosis and repairs
  • Field service and breakdown support
  • Construction of electrical automation panels
  • Liaising with the customer to maintain KPI’s and schedules

Essential Capabilities and Experience

  • Experience with electronics and printed circuit boards
  • Competent soldering skills
  • A-Class electrical licence would be an advantage
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision

Key Requirements

  • Australian drivers licence
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
