Electrical Engineer

We're urgently looking for an Electrical Engineer from the Manufacturing industry to join a global leading manufacturer in Adelaide.

You will be responsible for strengthening the capability of the manufacturing engineering team by providing specialist support in developing, delivering and implementing electrical solutions within the plant.

You'll provide technical support and identify opportunities for factory improvements, and work on projects from start to finish. You will be part of a collaborative team, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and meet project and production requirements.

This is a long-term contracting position attracting good hourly rates - located in Adelaide. Initially a 6 month engagement.

About You

• A degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
  • Automation systems
  • Safety systems
  • Pneumatics & hydraulic systems
• Proven competence in PLC/HMI, creating project documentation
• Knowledge of Siemens Automation will be advantageous
• Project implementation and “on-site” commissioning
• Project leader experience & good people leading skills advantageous.

You must be living in, or willing to relocate to Adelaide for this position.
