As Senior ICT Service Officer, you will manage the provision of technical and operational advice and support to ensure ICT services and technologies are delivered effectively.
This is a fixed term, full-time position in the public sector. Ideally starting mid-May 2024, ending February 2026.
You must be living in Darwin (or willing to relocate) to be considered.
About the Role
- Support business objectives and priorities by managing the provision of technical and operational ICT advice and support.
- Develop, review and manage the implementation of policy and procedures pertaining to mobile and other ICT technologies.
- Manage the provision of training and support in the effective utilisation of ICT systems and technologies.
- Act as the advocate in promoting the use of self-service tools to access ICT services.
- Liaise effectively with all levels of staff as well as external service providers and IT specialists.
About You
- Demonstrable ability to manage the provision of technical and operational advice and support to users of ICT software systems.
- Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to think laterally and creatively.
- Good supervisory and service delivery management skills.
- Good collaborative and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, external service providers and IT specialists.
- Good ability to liaise with clients to identify specific needs and develop an appropriate response.
- High level technical skills in the set up and operation of ICT technologies.
- Good knowledge of systems security, administration and change processes in IT systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging ICT technology trends and practices.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Business, IT or similar will be highly regarded.
