Responsibilities:
- Electrical Systems Development: Provide specialist support in developing, delivering, and implementing electrical solutions within the plant. This includes designing and optimizing electrical systems for efficiency and safety.
- Factory Improvements: Identify opportunities for factory improvements related to electrical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
- Project Management: Work on projects from start to finish, ensuring successful implementation of electrical solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project and production requirements. Effective communication and teamwork are essential.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing or a similar field.
- Technical Skills:
- Automation Systems: Demonstrated knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
- Safety Systems: Familiarity with safety systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Fluid Power Systems: Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
- Project Documentation: Proven competence in creating project documentation.
- Siemens Automation: Knowledge of Siemens Automation systems is advantageous.
- Project Implementation: Experience in project implementation and on-site commissioning.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
Location: This long-term contract position is based in Adelaide. If you’re not already in Adelaide, we welcome your willingness to relocate.
