Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for break-fix repairs, corrective maintenance, minor project works and preventative maintenance on PLC, SCADA and HMI equipment and software.

As a fully licenced Electrician you will have had some exposure to working on PLC systems and have a desire to learn and increase their knowledge in this area driving career progression.


Skills/Experience required

  • Hold an A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Experience in configuration, programming and support of PLC/PAC/RTU
  • Experience in configuration, programming and support of SCADA/HMI
  • Experience in Calibration, industrial Networking and Hazardous Areas

Responsibilities

  • Undertake service calls, repairs and preventative maintenance to PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, equipment and software
  • Prioritise time and plan work assignments to ensure that assigned tasks and duties are completed within set timeframes
  • Apply creativity and resourcefulness to resolving problems that arise from service and maintenance tasks and apply concepts and strategies that may require non-traditional methods to achieve overall results
  • Participate in on-the-job training and self-directed learning to ensure the currency and relevance of your technical knowledge
  • Document repairs and service records, and ensure they are kept up to date
