EIC Project Engineer. Contract until EOY 2026

Heavy industrial giant needs a talent EIC Project Engineer to be responsible for various design, procurement, scheduling & cost management.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the design process
• Managing Project Control and Procurement/Contract processes
• Team management
• Overseeing the construction process and commissioning
• Safety and Environment leadership

Knowledge & Experience

• Application and knowledge of Australian / International Standards related to electrical and automation systems
• Management of small-medium design and construction projects or work packages in a heavy industrial environment
• 5+ years of experience managing the engineering aspects of capital projects and associated aspects including HSEC, employee relations, and contractors
• Electrical engineering low voltage distribution, drives, instrumentation, and control systems design
• Construction supervision experience
• Experience in the pre-authorisation development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverables
• Tendering, negotiation and administration of major equipment supply and construction contracts
• Understanding of toll gated approach to project development and execution
