You will be joining a medium-sized IT MSP and a proud partner. The team is dedicated to delivering top-notch IT solutions to their clients.

The primary function of the Systems Engineer role is to support and manage modern workplace systems and cloud technologies. This includes Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, as well as Microsoft Azure hosting and Windows servers as virtual machines on various hosting platforms like VMWare or Hyper-V.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Modern Workplace Systems Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Cloud Technologies: Manage and monitor Microsoft Azure hosting environments and Windows server virtual machines.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform simple troubleshooting and administration of broadband, network, WiFi, backups, cyber, and voice systems.
  • Collaboration: Work as part of the team to deliver on commercial and growth outcomes, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness and customer service.
  • Security and Technical Expertise:Leverage broad technical knowledge to enhance security measures and manage systems according to client requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, MS-500, AZ-104 are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft solutions and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with VMWare or Hyper-V hosting platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer service mindset.
