Electrical Draftsperson

About the Role:

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Electrical Draftsperson to join a major project team on an initial 6-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension? This hybrid role will be based in North Sydney office, offering a blend of in-office and remote work and you will be working on a large, ongoing Sydney Water project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop single line diagrams, I/O Cards, and PLC schematic diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to industry standards and company guidelines in all drafting tasks.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards, ideally including Sydney Water Standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong background in working with & marking up single line diagrams, I/O Cards, and PLC schematic diagrams.
• Familiarity with Sydney Water Standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
