Electrical Engineer

Currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic project team on an intial 12-month contract. you will work exclusively on Sydney Water projects, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced water management systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on Sydney’s water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for Sydney Water projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Utilize exisitng systems, including SCADA and PLCs, to optimize water management processes.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and manuals.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical systems, preferably in the water industry.
• Strong knowledge of Schneider Electric systems, including SCADA and PLCs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
